Story of the house

The house has been in the family since 1981. My mother grew up in Eikvåg, and my parents were good friends with the former property owners, so when the house came on the market, my mother and father were quick to purchase the place. House was built by the former owners in 1937 and primarily used during summer season. The house has been restored twice – in 1982 and in 2021.

The Owner

I more or less grew up in this house when I was young, we spent many months in the house usually from April through October. Since restoring the house in 2021, I have let it out mainly to families on either airbnb or finn.no (with 9.8 / 10 score). Due to the new charges from both sites (which add 10-20% to the bill !) I have instead decided to let it out directly, reducing the cost for people who rent this.
